Product development is my passion since 1997. With over 27 years of experience, I help companies - from fast-scaling startups to global enterprises - unlock their product potential and accelerate growth.
Today, I serve as a Non-Executive Director and a Strategic Product Advisor, with a particular focus on B2B and high-growth businesses. Since 2012, I’ve also been investing in software-enabled companies, particularly in the B2B space, giving me a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this sector.
For high-growth startups and scale-ups, I help build scalable product functions, optimise technology investments, and accelerate product-market fit. Whether it’s building the right team, streamlining product processes, or rethinking go-to-market strategies, my pragmatic, hands-on approach drives tangible results.
My Product Experience
My product expertise is rooted in my early years at PayPal and eBay, where I was one of the first employees at PayPal France. I gained invaluable experience working closely with some of Silicon Valley’s top product teams. This gave me a unique perspective on scaling product functions and aligning product strategies to drive fast business growth.
After my time at PayPal and eBay, I led product teams at VC-backed startups and large corporations. Most notably, as Managing Director at Elsevier-RELX, I managed over £1 billion in revenue, leading a cross-functional team of 65 product managers in close collaboration with 400 engineers, designers, and data scientists.
My expertise lies in aligning product strategies with commercial growth goals, and I have consistently delivered measurable results throughout my career.
AI, Data Science, and Product Analytics
With an MSc in Applied Mathematics, I have always leveraged data to inform my product decisions. At eBay, I piloted in France some of the company’s first ranking algorithms for search results, and since then, I’ve integrated AI and machine learning into both eCommerce and B2B SaaS applications. My work includes building recommender systems and using natural language processing (NLP) to enhance product experiences.
In 2020-21, I was part of the European Commission’s AI Ethics task force, where I contributed to shaping the ethical use of AI in Europe. I continue to follow developments in Generative AI closely, especially its potential for transforming product experiences.
Board Leadership
I am currently an Independent Non-Executive Director at esure Group, a leading motor and home insurer serving 2.3 million customers. Backed by Bain Capital, esure is leveraging AI and digital technology to drive customer-centric innovation, and I play an active role in steering this transformation. My focus is on ensuring that esure maximises the potential of data science and digital transformation to stay competitive in a fast-changing market.
Strategic Product Advisor
In my advisory work, I partner with founders, CEOs, CPOs, and CTOs in high-growth B2B SaaS companies to unlock commercial growth through strategic product leadership. I help these leaders:
